I used to think that yoga was all about those bendy beautiful poses. I still like to bend a lot and practice handstand, but let me tell you yoga is all about the inside.

About me.

Yoga and meditation are slowing down practices... turning inward practices to get still and listen to your own wisdom. My aim is to guide you on this path so that you can do hard things. Life will still be messy and hard and exhilarating, but you just might feel a bit more easeful about it.

More about me…

I have been teaching yoga and mindfulness in the Boston area for nearly a decade at yoga studios, small and large businesses, hospitals and religious institutions. I love to both learn and teach and consider it a gift to continually evolve and pass on what so many wonderful people have shared with me. A humble bow to all of my teachers and mentors: Matt Giordano, Rebecca Doring, George Mumford, my Thursday meditation sangha, Rolf Gates, Jacqui Bonwell, Kevan Gale, Betty Riaz, my husband David who is my best friend, my three boys who are my life’s greatest gifts and teachers, dear friends, my parents and entire family…"If I have seen further than others, it is by standing upon the shoulders of giants.” - Isaac Newton

Yoga and meditation speak to my soul and have helped me navigate challenging times, but variety is the spice of life. As much as I enjoy quiet and stillness, being active adds that spice and creates just the right amount of balance and fun. Hiking, swimming, lifting weights, cooking, dinner parties with family and friends, travel and community involvement are just a few more things that fill my soul.

I believe life is all about helping out, lending a hand, and being kinder than necessary.
